Congratulations to all of the participants from The focus of this programme was on leadership and development. However this was combined with forward thinking, in the form of innovation Projects . These were centered around either Fee Generation, Cost Saving or Health and Safety. These projects challenged members of the Askham Bryan College Team, requiring an open mind and a willingness to accept different ideas. Moreover this programme provided ways in which individuals can change to ensure the best leadership and high performance. The skills learnt are of particular importance when considering that Askham Bryan Collage have recently secured a deal with Newton Rigg campus part of the University of Cumbria, allowing the college to expand the courses available. The skills that the participants learnt from the 2inspire programme will be put into immediate effect and are very valuable in ensuring the success of this exciting venture for the college. Well done to all who completed the programme in particular Sharon Sheppard who received the Highest Achievement Award. She was voted the winner by her colleagues as they felt that she developed the most throughout the programme. The feedback from this particular programme was very encouraging from all who took part. The main benefit members felt was improved confidence within their roles “My confidence has improved tenfold” Karen Roper In addition many felt that it made them prioritise and rethink the way in which they perform in the workplace. “This programme made me stop to consider and refocus my priorities” Janet Clay
