Martin Corry, Rob Northfield

Martin Corry recently completed the 2inspire Inspirational Leadership Programme.  He, along with his colleagues in the group discovered new ways to enhance their Leadership and Human Relationship skills.  By his own admissin, his "tool bag" often only contained a hammer!   With the help of the programme and the inspiration of his fellow delegates he was able to add mulitiple new skills and "tools" to his collection.    With the addition of these tools,  he now has a clearer insight into gaining co-operation through effective communication, praise and recognition, enabling him to work even more effectively with others.

Martin Corry winner of 64 caps for England, including being a member of the World Cup-winning squad in 2003, Runner-up in 2007 World Cup and has toured Australia and New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions. Martin played for Leicester Tigers and captained the team in three grand finals lifting the Guinness Premiership and EDF Energy Cup at the first double of the games professional era.

Awarded an MBE in the 2004 New Years Honours, Martin Corry is widely regarded as one of the most consistent players in the English game and definitely a man to have on your side when the going gets tough.

    For the third year running Rob Northfield of 2inspire will be running the Great North Run 2011 for his chosen charity Martin House Hospice. They are dedicated to caring for children and young people with progressive and life limiting illnesses, also supporting their families and people around them. Based in Boston Spa, Wetherby this charity provides support throughout the Yorkshire region. Joining him this year will be fellow 2inspire graduates from various companies around Yorkshire; John Horvath and Neil Georgiou- Cedar Court Hotels, Andrew Flint-Platinum Print, Neil Lancaster-Gamestec, David Ross-Keycare and Shaun Harratt-Harratts Group. All are running for various charities and supporting great causes. We, from 2inspire wish them they very best of luck and are supporting them all the way.

Congratulations to the participants of the 2inspire Open Programme who recently completed a course in Inspirational Leadership on the 17^th June in Harrogate.

 Well done to everyone who took part on the course in particular Laurence Duncan who received the Highest Achievement Award voted for by other group members. It was widely felt that he was the individual who had progressed the furthest, and developed the most over the duration of the programme.

 This programme was focused upon behavioral change, considering how the behavior of the participants impacts on the people around them in the workplace. This required commitment and willingness from the participants to change behavior and attitudes, in order to have a positive effect on the organisation that they work for.

 This programme was a fantastic experience for all who took part, and we received very positive feedback from all who attended.
