2inspire approach motivates Harrogate Railway to realise FA Cup round dreams  

Harrogate based Welcom Software and 2inspire - sponsored football team Harrogate Railway are celebrating another unexpected win in the FA cup rounds, demonstrating the on-going development and success of the club.

Congratulations to Harrogate Railway who have done it again – they’re through to the FA Cup second round for the second time in their 72 year history. With a magnificent 2-0 win, the team sent a shell shocked Droylsden team crashing out of this year’s competition.

Now firmly established as the success story of the 2007 FA Cup, Harrogate Railway have navigated seven challenging games to get to this stage. Driven forward by Harrogate Railway Chairman and 2inspire Managing Director Rob Northfield, the club is growing in strength and confidence with each inspiring win.

Says Rob, “I believe that most people do not achieve their full potential in life. At 2inspire, we are helping people at all levels from directors through to office juniors to achieve their dreams and transform their lives. One of my reasons for heading up Harrogate Railway was to prove that the 2inspire approach can be adopted for any industry even football.”

Welcom Software, a provider of bespoke business software solutions for financial, retail and commercial lending industries and 2inspire, a leading Leadership Development Consultancy finalised their sponsorship deal with Harrogate Railway in June. The deal was the largest shirt sponsorship in the Club’s history.

Drawn against Mansfield Town in the next round, to be played at Railway’s Station View Ground on Sunday 2nd December, the club are just one victory away from the third round when the giants of English football enter the stage. The match will also be televised live on BBC 1 at 1.15pm, helping to further rise the profile of the club in their FA Cup journey.
